“Romeo and Plumitas”

Once upon a time, there was a boy named Romeo, whose heart beat to the rhythm of superhero stories. Every day, he would don makeshift capes and run across the yard, rescuing his toys from imaginary dangers.

One sunny day, while playing, Romeo heard a soft chirp. He followed the sound and discovered a little bird fallen from its nest. Without hesitation, Romeo carefully picked it up and tried to return it to its high-flying home. However, the worried mother bird refused to accept her chick back.

Determined to help, Romeo decided to care for the little bird. He built a comfortable nest and patiently fed it. The boy and the bird, named "Plumitas," became inseparable friends. Romeo would share his superhero stories, and Plumitas, with shining eyes, seemed to understand every word.

Days passed, and Plumitas grew strong and healthy thanks to Romeo's care. The time came when the bird's wings were ready to soar. Although Romeo felt a twinge of sadness, he knew it was time to set it free.

With care, Romeo took Plumitas to where he found it. The boy whispered words of encouragement and love, and the little bird, now strong and capable, spread its wings and soared into the sky. The mother bird, watching from above, descended and warmly thanked Romeo.

From that day on, Romeo continued playing superhero, but now with a heart filled with the joy of having helped a winged friend. And though Plumitas was no longer by his side, the memory inspired him to be a hero in real life, caring for and protecting those in need.
