"Luna's pacifier"

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Luna, a little one full of joy and curiosity, who always carried her faithful friend with her: her pacifier. Since she was a baby, the pacifier was her inseparable companion. Luna took it everywhere: to the park, to school, and even on the most incredible adventures in her imagination.

Her parents always heard comments from others saying that Luna was already too old for the pacifier. But they had a special philosophy: they believed that Luna should leave the pacifier when she felt ready, when it was her decision and not the imposition of others.

So, every time someone mentioned that Luna was too big for the pacifier, her parents would respond with a smile and say, "Luna will know when the right time is."

The days passed, and Luna continued to carry her pacifier lovingly, but something began to change. One day, while playing in her room, Luna looked at her pacifier attentively. She examined it closely, as if having a silent conversation with it.

Then, with determination in her eyes, Luna approached her mom and handed over the pacifier with a shy smile. The mom, surprised but excited, asked, "Are you sure, sweetheart?"

Luna nodded firmly and said, "Yes, Mom. I'm ready now."

Mom embraced Luna with love and kept the pacifier in a special place. Dad, seeing how brave his daughter was, also hugged her and told her how proud he was of her.

From that day on, Luna discovered that she could face new challenges on her own. Although she missed her pacifier, she felt happy and proud of having made that decision. She realized that there was no rush, that every child has their own pace, and that the important thing was to feel prepared to take that step.

Her parents learned a great lesson from Luna: that every child has their own time and that, sometimes, it's best to let them make important decisions when they feel ready. And so, Luna continued to grow, facing new challenges with courage and remembering that the most important decisions are made best when they come from the heart and one's own conviction.
